Touch Interactivity Not Working

Solution

If the touch screen is an InfraRed model, try the following in the order below;

  1. Restart the Driver
    1. In the system tray, at the bottom right of the screen, there should be a computer monitor icon with either a red or green dot within the monitor, right click the icon and click "Exit"
    2. Find the driver to reopen it, typically installed to C:\Program Files (x86)\Genee World\Spark Server\Driver
    3. Double click either Board_Driver.exe or WhiteBoardDriver.exe
    4. Test touch interactivity
  2. Change the Open Multi-touch setting
    1. Right click the icon in the system tray again but click Config
    2. Click on the tab labelled "Special Config"
    3. Untick the option labelled "Open Multitouch"
    4. Click Ok
    5. Test touch interactivity
  3. Due to the way the Infra-red touch sensing works, some lights can have adverse effects on touch-screens. Test interactivity with the lights above or around the screen turned off, if possible.
  4. Contact Technical Support 0870 386 1900
